Welcome to my website. As an engineer, I recently retired from 29 years as an IT professional. But my passion has always been working with wood and building just about anything. Quality, safety and building the right solution are the number one priorities in anything I do. What I will do is ensure that I help you determine what you would like so that we make sure you have no regrets after the project is completed. There is nothing worse than completing a project and wishing you had made it differently.
Because, at the end of the day, it is Basically Your Design !
My Mission: To create high quality, safe and stunning projects on time, every time and within budget. One simple differentiating factor is that I will not jump between projects. I believe that dedicated commitment will benefit both yourself, the customer, and my team.
My Process:
1 | Booking
The first step is essentially to book an appointment with at a time most convenient for you.
2 | Meeting
During the initial meeting, we will take a look at the area that you wish to build, rebuild or remodel.
3 | Proposal(s)
After a thorough inspection of the area, we will sit down and discuss options.
4 | Suppliers and Materials
We then refer the client to our reputable suppliers to select the materials and colours they desire. Or if desired, we may provide all the required materials.
5 | Contract and Change Orders
To protect each other, we will document an appropriate contract detailing the project.
Hopefully after all the prep discussions we have a clear picture of what is desired, however occasionally you might change your mind, or there is an unforeseen surprise. That being said, unless there is a loss or additional expense, we will document an appropriate change order so that we complete the project on time and on budget.
6 | Execution
After you are satisfied with the material choices, I will execute the project. At the end of each working day we take the time to clean up so that the homeowner’s disruption is minimized.
7 | After Project Service
Upon completion of the project, we will walk through to ensure that all the tasks were completed as per your Design. I will also be available to address any concerns or issues that arise.
